In Person Learn to knit top down socks
Learn how to make top-down socks on double-pointed or circular needles - from working in-the-round, to turning the heel, to shaping the toe. We will also discuss how to choose the right yarn for your socks, share tips for socks as the perfect travel project, and provide suggestions for simple--but high impact--design variations like stripes and interesting ribbings to make a basic sock more fun.

Materials Required:
Sock yarn (please not black or dark colours), 2.25mm needles.
Pattern will be provided by email or for pick up in store. *Materials can be purchased from Spun at 10% OFF the regular price, before class, based on the teacher's recommendations.
Prerequisites: Advanced beginner/intermediate - knitters must be comfortable with casting on, knitting, purling, increasing, decreasing, and binding off.
Cost: $60 + materials
Time: 3 Hours over 3 Weeks
Dates: Mondays July 4th, 11th & 18th 10:00am-11:00am
Location: This class is held at Spun Fibre Arts 2395 Lakeshore Rd. West in Bronte Village
Parking is available on Jones, south of Lakeshore or the municipal lot at Ontario St. Please do not park in any other business or private lots.
