Learn the basics required to unravel the various techniques shown in the “Japanese Knitting Stitch Bible”. The charts and some of the basic stitches will be discussed and a sample will be made using these techniques - crossed stitches, twisted stitches, wrapped stitches, bobbles, cables and some combination stitches. Book is not provided and should be purchased in advance.

Materials Required: Students should start a sample with DK or worsted weight yarn in a light colour using 5 or 5.5 mm needles. Cast on 24 stitches and work 4 rows of garter stitch. *Materials can be purchased from Spun at 10% OFF the regular price before/after class.
Prerequisite: Participants should know how to cast on, knit and purl.
